Why and how to keep oneself fit during lock down period
For controlling the fire-like spread of the pandemic COVID-19 on the
Earth planet, countries have been adopting several means and measures to
control it. It has already infected more than 15 lakhs people and has taken
death toll over one lakh across 180 countries. Government of India has adopting
on war footing some immediate measures like isolation, quarantine, instant
health care, IPC 144, Jamaobandi, etc. One of them is ‘lockdown’. We already
passed over 2 weeks lock down and passing through the next period of another
two weeks.
Some fatal outcomes are already appeared like death
toll, inadequacy of health care, no vaccination, financial blow, schools
closed, productivity coming to halt, workforce in un-organized sector, rural
masses and labor force in a miserable state, etc. The after effects like
unemployment, financial status too much down, etc. are also visualized.
Human beings are activities apt, keep on doing lot
of necessary and unnecessary tasks both physical and mental. Lock down has
turned into ‘leg-down. If one continues with non-activities for a long time,
one may lose the inherent capacity of body. One needs to sustain this capacity
and ability keeping one self physically fit during the lock down period. Here
are anew ways how to keep oneself fit during lockdown period.
1.
Diet: reduce diet, be vegetarian,
and select a diet that helps improve immunity power of the body. Include cow milk, butter milk, ginger,
lasoon, eat more vegetables and pulses.
2.
Water: drink pure water, reduce
tea/coffee and drink warm water/tea/coffee every after two hours that helps
eradicate COVID-19 accumulation in the tonsils part of windpipe preventing
virus to enter into bronchial tubes and then lungs. COVID-10 is SARS-2 family
virus that stops lungs function causing death. Using ginger, lounge, Tulasi
leaves and Haldi will help improve immunity.
3.
Exercise: Take at least 1000
steps s daily near your house, take Yogic exercise: stretching, bending,
twisting including such postures as Bujangasan, Shavasan, Tadasan,
Sarvanagasan, Konasan, squats 50, Namaskar 25, etc. take such exercise that
gives good exercise to both neck and lungs. Take 2-3 different simple pranayama
like Bhaskika, Kapalbhati, long breathing. Etc. Bhramar and Brmari stimulates
wind pipe and creates vibration pressure in the brain. Practice relevant part
of Homeopathy and accu-pressure.
4.
Uddiyan Bandh, Vyaghra Mudra helps
strengthen abdomen and wind wipe. It is a good a habit to drink at least half
glass of water early in the morning though nose called Ushpan that clans
nostrils, wind pipe, sinuses etc and improves vision.
5.
Keep mentally busy: Read news
paper, see TV news and serials, work on desktop or so but be not addict, write
something, use internet, Whatsapp, etc.
6.
Worship, Prayer and chanting: Put
your heart in your daily worship. Recite prayer. Chant some Sanskrit Mantras
loudly. This relaxes the muscles in face, chest (including lungs and heart) and
improves blood pressure. I have realized that such chanting normalizes
ex-haling and in haling giving, improves relaxation and heart and lung capacity
improves.
7.
Develop close family relation:
Use opportunity to touch the heart of each other, play games, etc.
8.
Focus on the area of your liking
that one aspired in the past but have remained unattended.
One can be innovative and creative to make one fit and prepared for
after COVID-19 situation.
Take care; stay
fit, secure and safe during lockdown period
